My artistic world is essentially based on the use of handmade paper and clay.  Guided by my intuition and my wonder at natural materials, textures and relief, I like to create abstract works that are an ode to simplicity. Each stage of the creative process invites me to play with contrasts, create movement, integrate temporality and add depth to my work. The minimalist style leaves the viewer free to make his or her own personal interpretation, to resonate with his or her own feelings.

Paper came into my life at the age of 42 during a papermaking course.  At the same time, I discovered the magic of clay and the alchemy began. A huge desire to create, to experiment and finally to dare.  At the same time, I decided to put my career as a civil engineer on hold to give life to the artist.

Paper invites lightness, vulnerability and movement, while clay provides anchorage, stability and depth. For me, these elements are an invitation to simplicity and to embrace imperfection.
